Declan was born and raised in Newmarket, Ontario. He graduated from York University earning a bachelor’s degree in political science. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from Bora Laskin Faculty of Law in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
While in Thunder Bay, Declan represented his school by competing at the Walsh Family Law Moot and volunteered his time to the Pro-Bono Students of Canada, collaborating with the Thunder Bay Injured Worker Association.
Declan completed his articles in Toronto at a small-sized law firm that specialized in the areas of civil, employment, corporate and estates law. In his free time, Declan enjoys football, hockey, golfing, and spending time with his family.
