Kirsi was born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario where she obtained her Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree at Lakehead University.  Following business school, Kirsi pursued her Juris Doctor at the University of Manitoba.

Primary Areas of Practice:

Upon graduation from law school, Kirsi relocated to Kenora, Ontario where she completed her articles with a general practice firm and was part-owner of a local business.  She also became an elected member of Kenora’s City Council in 2018 and served an eight-month term as Deputy Mayor.  Prior to joining Dooley Lucenti, she owned and operated her own law practice with a focus on family law.

Kirsi completed her Certificate in Family Mediation from York University in 2020 and is currently pursuing her Accredited Family Mediator (AccFM) designation.

When not in the office, Kirsi enjoys participating in a variety of canine sports.  She and her rescue dog hold a Novice Trick Dog title and they have competed together in kicksledding, agility and flying disc.
