Samantha obtained her Master of Public Policy, Administration, and Law, before completing her Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School. Samantha’s areas of practice include civil litigation, with a focus on employment, human rights, and commercial litigation, and family law.
Samantha Brown recently joined Dooley Lucenti after practicing as an Assistant Crown Attorney in the County of Simcoe. She continues to act as an Agent for the Federal Crown in Muskoka. Samantha articled as a judicial law clerk for the Superior Court of Justice.
Prior to her call to the bar, Samantha spent fifteen years as a police officer for a large municipal service, and several years as a professor at Humber College, teaching in criminal justice. She continues to teach part-time and mentor her former students.
When not meeting with clients or working on files, Sam enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason, and their blended family of five children, their rescue dog, Balto, and their adorable cat, Tia Clair. They love all things CrossFit and spending time backcountry camping, skiing, and enjoying everything the County of Simcoe has to offer.
